Exclusive: Glamping – A valuable business opportunity

The glamping industry is set to explode in the UK over the next few years, so for leisure attractions that are looking to diversify there is no better time to enter the glamping arena.

If you are considering venturing into the commercial world of glamping or already have an established glamping business then it’s worth putting a note in your diary to attend The Glamping Show, which is being launched in September and is completely dedicated to glamping.

A wide range of exhibitors will be setting up camp at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire for this inaugural event from Thursday 24 to Saturday 26 September.

It is an event that many in the industry feel is long overdue as glamping is believed to be the fastest growing holiday sector worldwide, with huge potential, especially here in the UK where ‘staycations’ and short breaks are on the increase.

Visitors will have an exclusive chance to see what the industry has to offer, as exhibitors will be attending from all corners of the glamping sector, both from the UK and abroad, showcasing everything from glamping venues, hot tubs and other accessories through eco-toilets and technology and of course there will be all types of glamping accommodation.

In addition, visitors will be among the first to see and experience some of the amazing structures that will be launching onto the glamping scene at the show.

For established glamping businesses and those new to the industry a visit to the Glamping Show will pay dividends as the organisers have put together a full programme of seminars over the three days of the show where visitors will have access to free expert advice on how to successfully launch a glamping business as well as how to develop existing businesses.

Led by industry professionals, these seminars will cover everything from planning and funding, options and resources for fledgling businesses, the pitfalls and how to avoid them to how to engage social media successfully, the importance of good photography and how to find and train staff, as well as much more.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to hear from those people who have already taken the plunge, such as Bob O’Connor of the Aspinall Foundation who will be talking about how short breaks in visitor attractions are no longer just incremental revenue but rather an important source of business income.

Amazing Spaces’ Max McMurdo will also be on hand to help you get creative and realise your dream!

Make sure Stoneleigh is a glamping destination in your diary this September. For more information visit www.theglampingshow.com or follow the show on twitter @theglampingshow.
